MASAL: CRAFTING FAIRY TALE BRIDAL DREAMS WITH TIMELESS ELEGANCE AND UNYIELDING PASSION
In the vibrant heart of Sydney, Australia, a fairy tale commenced against the backdrop of the 2020 global pandemic. A visionary, Ali Sisman, with an intriguing blend of backgrounds in software engineering and a fervent passion for fashion, envisaged a bridal label that would redefine the bridal industry and create every bride’s dream into reality.
Thus, in the most unexpected of times, MASAL, embodying the Turkish word for "fairy tale", was born.
Ali Sisman migrated to Australia in 2009, immersing himself in IT studies, but always nurtured a fascination for the fashion world, a realm that beckoned him with the promise of unbounded creativity and elegance. After graduation, the entrepreneurial spirit took hold, steering him towards the path of realizing dreams, not just for himself but for thousands of brides to be.
In a period where the world witnessed countless deferred dreams and cancelled weddings, MASAL sprouted with a daring belief that love could not be postponed, and every love story deserved to be celebrated with a perfect wedding dress. The cornerstone of MASAL’s philosophy became clear: providing ease of access to retailers with a streamlined ordering process, ensuring that every bride could find their fairy tale gown effortlessly.
Morgana's Story
A DRESS FOR EVERYONE
Courtney from Barossa Bridal here to introduce our very own designs thought up right here in the Barossa Valley. You might have read how the shop came to be in our about section, but this is the story of how we have developed from a very new small business into a dress label.

I have always had a passion for art but was never good enough to make it a profession. So, just like all childhood dreams they were pushed away and replaced with skills related to the average workforce.
​
At first, I was ok with my artistic ability used for nothing more than doodling when bored or designing something on paper that would stay on paper. Then, in the late Spring of 2024 after a successful opening of Barossa Bridal I started doodling dresses of my own designs based off what my customers were wanting. A mentor in the bridal industry happened to oversee one of my drawings and said that I should one day make those dresses a reality. I of course did not need any more provocation before I started doing just that.
Only a few weeks later and I had enough drawings to start a small collection and found a manufacturer to help me bring my designs to life. In the early Summer of 2025, we plan to officially release the "Australia Collection", containing thirteen dresses inspired by Australia and her climate. We will range from light, airy dresses perfect for a summer wedding, to spectacular show stopping gowns. At Barossa Bridal we pride ourselves on being plus-sized specialists so Morgana Bridal will reflect that ambition to serve brides of all shapes and sizes.

Fun fact: Morgana meaning "Born of the Sea" which is exactly where I was born (Port Adelaide) before making my way to the beautiful Barossa Valley.

Hi, I’m Tania Olsen, the designer behind the eponymous brand based in Brisbane, Australia.
The Tania Olsen brand was born out of a desire to create a space where cool bride vibes meet a devoted and inclusive wedding dress experience.
As a designer, I am always mindful of the modern bride’s desires and preferences. I understand that today’s brides are looking for more than just traditional wedding dresses – they want designs that reflect their unique style and personality. That’s why I infuse each collection with a touch of modernity, creating dresses that are contemporary, fresh, and on-trend.
From incorporating innovative cuts and silhouettes to using unconventional fabrics and bold colour choices, I strive to push the boundaries of bridal fashion while maintaining the timeless elegance that every bride deserves on her special day. My goal is to empower brides to express themselves through their wedding dress, making it a true reflection of who they are.

It's So Me's Story
Hello, I’m Val Tissen.
With nearly two decades of experience in the bridal industry, I made the decision to introduce our own brand under the label “Its So Me” This inspiration came from numerous brides exclaiming “Its sooooo me” when they found their perfect dress. Our small initial collection, designed and manufactured in South Australia was launched 4 years ago, and since then, we have steadily expanded and gained recognition in the Australian bridal market. Our dresses are meticulously designed to enhance every figure and ensure that each bride feels absolutely beautiful on her special day.
I have recently expanded our collection by incorporating dresses imported from Europe, designed by renowned designers from Ukraine, Estonia and the UK. This decision was made to offer our brides an even wider array of choice of dresses.
Our goal is to make it really easy for our retailers to supply the most innovative, high quality, but affordable dresses to their brides.
